Not necessarily in this case, but a lot of the class action suits are filed by the same law firms who seem to make it a business. The stock in a company goes down; they sue the company and, even if they could win, they settle because it is cheaper than litigation. The lawyers get most of the settlement, the shareholders as a class,indivdually get little, and they move to the next company.

NEW YORK, Feb 1 (Reuters) - Interstate/Johnson Lane said Monday it raised its rating on World Access Inc. to long-term buy from neutral with a price target of $19 a share.

-- Says will re-evaluate its rating after the company's earnings release and guidance regarding its outlook due on Feb. 11.

-- Says stock suitable for capital gains/higher risk account.
