You are correct. I believe I erroneously gave the list price of the MKII-8 as $9000. The list price per port is $1250 not $1125.

Of course Ancor expects to sell very few switches at retail, since they have switched to an OEM focus. OEMs care about their net price, and would prefer a higher list price and bigger discount than a lower list price and smaller discount.

How does Vixel's price compare at 100/yr or 500/yr?
