My comments regarding the "Barron's" article you posted. A positive article for Sun -
will not do any damage, and will probably help.

My major complaint is that the writer, Richard Evans, has missed the real flow of what
is going on with Sun in the short and long term - especially as regards "servers" - and
also Microsoft.

For example he says that Microsoft's ..... "industrial strength Windows NT system has
made inroads against Sun's UNIX-based servers."

This is misinformation, perhaps Microsoft misinformation. It is factually incorrect.
Microsoft's Windows NT 4.0 is gaining market share at the low-end of the
"workstation" business and to some extent, the low-end of the commercial "server"
business . To say that this means they have made inroads against Sun's
UNIX-based server business is pure bull-shit. Sun's Solaris is killing Microsoft
in the midsize and large "server" business, and as far as Microsoft is
concerned, it is going to get much worse for them. (a) Windows NT 5.0 now
called Windows 2000, is late and getting later - look for full release by early
2000, maybe (b) If Microsoft can produce a brand new bug-free operating
system in early 2000, I will be one of the first to congratulate them. They have
never produced a high quality operating system right 'out of the shoot.' Any of
you using Windows 98 - you know what I mean. By the way, I keep hearing of
individuals reloading Windows 95 because 98 is such a pain. (c) Stay with me now
- Windows 2000 is a non-event anyhow since it is still 32 bit. Sun's Solaris is already 64
bit. (d) Don't worry about Microsoft - worry about McNealy, Zander and everybody
executing the business.

Sun investors are going to make a lot of money on their stock in the next five years at
least - my opinion only of course.

**** By the way, 75% of all transactions on the Internet (the entire Internet) are
processed on Sun "servers" - that's 75% - and Sun's Solaris is already tested, approved
and ready to run on Intel's Merced - which itself is not yet complete. Microsoft's
Windows 2000 - don't worry about it - my opinion only. ****

There appears to have been a huge rollover from Feb 17.5's (NKQBW) calls to March 17.5's (NKQCW) calls today (I estimate 9500 contracts).

Any thoughts on what this means sentiment-wise? Bullish/Bearish?
