When I was in public accounting with a then Big Eight accounting firms over twelve years ago, the firm had the policy of routing its client list among the employees to ascertain that they did not hold stock in any of the companies for "independence" purposes.

Maybe someone knows somebody who works with Ernst & Young and could verify if the firm has been engaged, as long they don't create a problem for E & Y employee. Who knows, maybe if they are not the auditors, E & Y would want to be disassociated with the enterprise. Quite frankly, I really doubt GGNC would post the name of the auditing firm on its web page if they did not have and engagement letter signed.

A denial of such engagement by Ernst & Young would be devastating for the credibility of GGNC's management.
