You seem to have insights as to how the industry works, and so, may be correct.

But the bit below is not entirely bad news -- at issue seems to be a matter not of whether there was income, but what year it was attributed to. In any event, there's no suggestion of the criminal fraud you are speculating about.

ELMSFORD, N.Y., Feb 1 (Reuters) - American Bank Note Holographics Inc. <ABH.N> said Monday its 1997 net income may have been overstated by more than 50 percent, rather than the 10 percent estimated previously.

Based on currently available information, the producer of mass-produced secure holograms said, about $6 million of revenue previously included in 1997 results should instead have been included in 1998.
