Berkshire would be higher in price if it split -- people like me would buy some, and i only buy in lots of 100, so i am not interested in buying a few shares of class B.

It would be interesting to compare the beta of Berkshire shares to the individual stocks owned by Berkshire, suspect the former would be lower. If this theory holds I am against any stock splits, much prefer slow steady growth much easier on the digestive tract.
