Why it will work:

Someone I know (Dr. J. Lepock) is a research scientist who has publihed many papers in the area of tissue response to heating, which is what Celsion is using to kill tumor cells.

He says that if you heat some cells to above 43 degrees celsius for 5-10 minutes, they will die. If the cells right next door to these cells were heated to less than that for the same time, they will live.

What Celsion has done has been to develop a technology where the focusing of heating has been optimized to a level never before possible. They can heat within exact margins the interior of a tumor to above 43 degrees (Celsion's technology heats up to 46 degrees), while the neighboring cells remain at below 43, and survive.

The exact tumor dimensions are defined eg. by MRI or other imaging technology, and programmed in to the Celsion device.

It is an awesome way to destroy tumors, and will likely one day be a commonplace method for cancer management in the future.

Robert,

I'm pleased to see the orderly market. And I agree that's the way it should be. The points I have made were mainly in response to the expectations being levied that the stock would go "through the roof" today after all the 9-5ers read about it at the weekend.

Some realism isn't a bad thing.

Good luck.
