All this talk about Christian boy Starr just getting his rocks off totally ignores the reality of what Clinton has really done. And no, it's not about sex, it's about the lengths the man will go to in order to hide from his own sexuality [cut]. Whatever you think of Starr, you can't reverse what Clinton truly is.

... which is what, exactly?

Look, I've never said Clinton was right to have sex with Lewinsky or to lie about it. I have said that such actions, while reprehensible, do not warrant impeachment and/or removal from office. I'm defending the office of the President, not the man Bill Clinton.

My comments about Starr were intended as an aside. If Starr's motives were pure as the driven snow, his goal would still be wrong, IMHO. Obviously you and many others differ, so we'll just have to agree to disagree.

<< ... it's about the lengths the man will go to in order to hide from his own sexuality...willing to destroy others for the sake of protecting himself ... >>

BOY does that sound familiar.

Hmmm!? Chairman Hyde had a seven year affair, cheating on his wife thru lies and dishonesty. He hid that very well. You can't cheat on your wife for seven years without being a master at methods of protecting himself from being caught. SEVEN YEARS!!! And then, Hyde had the gall to say that his seven year cheating marathon was a youthful indiscretion!

Let's see...... Chairman Hyde is leading the charge, and we know about his moral background.

Who else is there leading the Republican attack.

How about Bob Barr refusing to answer, under oath, about cheating on one of his wives. Hmmmm!? I wonder how Barr's membership in a right wing hate group is doing these days.

Trent Lott, leader of the Senate Republicans??? He has been a member of the same right wing hate group, as Barr, for about 10 years.

Let's see who else the Republicans pick for their leaders and their attempt to hide their own sexual trysts.

Do you remember Bob Livingston? I can see why the Republicans choose him for Speaker of the House. He cheated on his wife many times over many years. He earned his Republican "Family Values" wings. And then when the Republicans learned about his many affairs, they gave him a standing ovation. I think that I am beginning to distrust the Republican Party's definition of "Family Values".

It all begs the question: Can the American Voters trust the Radical Republican Party with Majority Power after the 2000 elections?
