See, that's exactly what I mean.

The end of the world is when the SPX breaks either 1375 to the upside or 1235 to the downside. Up until then you just get out the aluminum foil hats and hold seances. A 1290 just puts you over the current horizontal trend we are in, but still leaves us in the trading channel.
