Thank you for your kind thoughts. And I hope you are feeling better now.

The best way to invest for the long term is what you said - keep buying shares of the good companies, however few at a time. There is no real advantage in buying a round lot any more. Do your homework and if things change, don't be afraid to switch horses.

INTC and AOL might not be burning up the tape today (I'm certainly not worried!), but DELL certainly is. Perhaps the momentum crowd has left the internets for the time being and gone back to DELL. I'm always suspicious of big runups, because they've caused me in the past to "count my chickens" too early and discount the possibility of a fall.
