Press release makes it sound a bit like a P&D. Trying to throw in references to AMZN, EBAY, ONSL and UBID even though they are completely unrelated, 100%, does little to add cred to a press release.

Flat rate (free) long distance is the inevitable way all carriers will eventually go. I remember reading an article a year ago about AOL developing a world wide IP telephone service. It was suppose to be priced at an additional $20 per month for free calls to most landline telephones worldwide. I guess it must have been canned or something.
