In an earlier message, I wrote: "so even if Ned is right and CMOZ goes to zero, I stay in the black" And you responded: "Yeah, but what about the guy who bought that stock from you without the benefit of full disclosure?" Ned, as long as I am not trading on inside information or intentionally deceiving and manipulating the market, there is nothing morally or ethically wrong with selling my stock to make a profit. In fact, it's my responsibility to my family to profit from my investments. 'Profit' is one of the theortical underpinnings of the capitalistic system. So if I can make a profit while complying with all ethical, moral, and legal standards, I will not feel ashamed for it - even if the stock is CMOZ. But what about this 'other guy' you worry about? How is it _my_ responsibilty to insure that he makes wise investments when he will not exercise _his_ responsibility to do his own homework? If this mythical investor reads the SI board or Yahoo or Motley Fool, surely he sees two sides to the investment. If he has done that, he has had as much 'Full Disclosure' as I've had. Any investor has to be aware of risks, especially in BB stocks like CMOZ. If, in his naivity, he ignores them and happens to buy 'the shares I sell', how does my responsibility in selling supercede his in buying. Simply put, it does not. Where does your responsibility for this poor guy's decision end? You've posted multiple warnings here. You've fulfilled the requirement of transmitting your knowledge. You've done it. It does not need to be posted repetitively. Even with the full knowledge of the consequences, people smoke. Even if the Suburu has too high a center of gravity, people buy them. The Ford Pinto's gas tank explodes. People still bought them. Excess exposure to ultraviolet rays causes skin cancer. People still think they look better with a tan. And let's not have an extended discussion of safe sex and AIDS/HIV. People are responsible for their own decisions - even if they buy CMOZ. And what if the unthinkable happens ... that the poor, oblivious, advice-ignoring sap who bought my shares at $3+ happens to hold them for a couple of months and sells them for $6??!!
