I listened to the CC replay, 800-475-6701 Access Code 430769, and it was even more positive and informative than the last one. This company is awesome. Here's a couple of things i noticed (this is in my own words, so if i misunderstood anything, please let me know): Network buildout is ahead of schedule and under budget. New customers increased 25% over last quarter. 30% of existing customers purchased additional capacity last quarter. Basic pricing on AC1 has remained the same. (The orders are getting much bigger, so there are some discounts given, but they are not seeing downward pressure on pricing.) Pricing on PEC is 8 to 10 times the price of camparable U.S. capasity. Pricing in Japan is about 15 times U.S. price. The letter to the FCC about the consortium was explained in detail: it is not negitive if the 1954 law is not ammended, but it is very good if it is. It could take months for the FCC ruling. They explained a little about the accounting charges: it will reduce the earnings per share number reported, but does not affect cash flow. They stressed that Cash Flow and EBITDA are the numbers to watch. The company will continue to generate cash. They have more than enough financing already to complete all of the announced network (even before the new finacing from Lucent). The whole tone of the CC was that they were pleased with the progress and sales so far, things are going well and they are confident about the future. There was a lot more, it all sounded good to me.
