William, you got that right. Buy on rumor, sell BEFORE the news on PRFM. As I said on HOME thread, we need one another to smack us upside the head now and then, when we get engaged to a stock.

The second the heat comes in and the volume rises, I'm looking for the closest peak to jump off. . .3 to 13 would have been quite respectable.

Swing trades and our longs. . . maybe some fairly low volume low profile momentums, like many of the ones we trade regularly.

But once one of our babies grows into a monster, walk away and find another baby. Only keep a free lottery ticket. But the most important thing. . .learn not to average up. Say 50 pct is cut-off rule. From there ride, but stop buying.

That should reduce risk or in PRFM's case, keep us from falling off the cliff. Lessons learned.

What has your radar been showing, while I was away on a virtual honeymoon with the devil?

When we sense the stock being "discovered" is our cue to start looking for the best door.

FUNW on OTC has some news...we may want to examine whether they could apply to Nasdaq soon...tons of insider buying in the pennies....real company.

IRSN and GRDN just sitting there on the bottom of the lake....not even coming up for air.

USTI was under heavy accum several weeks ago, suddenly it is sprinting. This is a 10 year old software company that has POSITIVE earnings making software for city governments. Y2K compliant and Microsoft Certified. They show the city names of their new customers each month and it has been a steadily growing list for a year that I have been watching them. Totally reporting and real company with real revs, real employees and real bottom line earnings. Not sure why the interest recently, but the buy size is large, like it was several weeks ago...when buy size was 6 digits.

WCTI - I said when it was FIRST shown to me that it was a prime short candidate. "If I could short I would have loved it at 35 dollars." Remember me saying that over and over? I know some of you have taken short positions in it well over 30. Your Christmas wish may have come true. It appears this one will get attacked and devoured by bears very soon. Any silly ones out there thinking it could go from 30 to some ridiculous number...consider yourselves warned. The company does not even report...and now it has attracted too much attention.

GTOS was a nice little accum, but looks a little overdone and needs to see some pullback, before making any further gains. I think it will still come back under 1.

Enough for now.

USTI pulling back nicely...may have to jump in at bottom...

Looks like shorts are in somewhat. I want to buy at .025. Rumor of major insider buying...not in news or in Insider Trader yet. Looking for next earnings report...

Can't recall if last 1 or last 2 quarters were profitable. They are soon releasing new 32-bit Microsoft Certified Y2K compliant city government software for NT and Unix. Customers increasing...could be surprise earnings bump on Y2K fear from city governments.

Right now, this is a momo and should be played as one for now...when buying dries up, tho, it can be a great long termer. . .discovered often. I have owned a long time...and sold for profits many times.

PCTR for tomorrow. Low, low float, only 4+ million shares outstanding. Incredible news today, just getting attention after the close.
