The new guy at Merrill is Steve Silverman -- a fund manager, not an analyst -- and I think they said he runs the value fund and perhaps others. I was curious as to what Merrill was holding since those stocks either have been dumped or are going to be dumped. I know Faber was right about Merrill holding ESV because ESV's annual report last year listed Merrill as the second largest shareholder.

I have no idea whether Merrill owned a chunk of FLC, but in light of the huge amounts for sale the past few weeks I wouldn't be surprised.
