Just for the sake of argument, how does one start a proxy fight? I'm just a real small timer who just got a lot smaller today, but I would surely support ANYONE who wanted to boot out Sim. Even Sleazebag Bill in DC would be an improvement. Even I could run this company better.

Wow! This is interesting. it seems like a good number of TDFX holders are also CREAF holders. Then I guess my post on CREAF on the TDFX thread was not so off topic after all <G>.

In any event, Creative's biggest problem is lack of vision and what is perceived by the market as the company's loss of focus. Not to mention that when a company goes through a major transition as Creative is, it has to destroy its "proven" base while building (and risking) the "unproven" structure. This is best done in calm friendly waters. Unfortunately for Creative, today's waters are any thing but.

On a different but related note, can anyone tell me who are the major players in the DVD world? Who makes the DVD drives and who make the related logic chips? It's been years since I looked at the DVD players (the stocks not the drives <G>). I thought CUBE had potential, but fortunately I stayed away from them. Any help is appreciated.

Sun Tzu
