Out of DELL?

I feel my gut tightening,
though it could be gas <vbg>

This thread moves fast, heavy on frequent updates. Too hard to keep up with so many posts. Are so many updates needed? If yes, stay with one liners. It will be easy to browse through, instead of clicking "next". SI is slow.

*Dinging Dell: Last week JJC made some offhand comment about how much money guys are making betting against Piper Jaffray's Ashok Kumar, who has been sounding an alarm about weakening sales growth for PC makers. This morning he's out with another warning on Dell's (DELL:Nasdaq) slowing top-line growth. The company doesn't report earnings until Feb. 16. While most of Wall Street is likely to focus on year-over-year growth, Kumar will be shining the spotlight on sequential growth, the appropriate measure of a growth company. He estimates Dell's sequential growth for the quarter ended Jan. 31 was a sluggish 11%, which would trail competitors' growth rates. What's more, according to his comparisons, Dell's market share is dropping.

Bought PAIR and RMBS yesterday. Sold 30% of my ASND position. Will rebuy if it goes to 70's again. Sold my Gillette as it appears too expensive factoring future growth. Bought into IPO Perot systems debuting today.

Neil
