Oh! - just a harmless accident?? <ggg>

Had a limit order entered and accepted for display 30
minutes before market open this morning. All funds were in
order - cash only EGRP buy.

Watching real time quotes, after open, as price approached
my limit - went to Open Order screen to check for fill - all gone... must have gotten filled?

Went to check Daily Activity and WHAT??... Datek had
arbitrarily, capriciously, and with no warning - canceled
the order, 3 minutes before market open.

Attempted BL____T FR__D - deliberate manipulation of
client's account without authorization.

Of course the Nasdaq, NASDR, and SEC condone and support
this type of client order manipulation so there is not
much use complaining to the foxes guarding the chicken house.

If it weren't for Chris Byron, MSNBC contributor doing the
SEC's job, all we would ever hear is Arthur Levitt running
at the mouth telling us of the "dangers" of Internet
investing.... in other words, the SEC and Nasdaq are
the dog being wagged by all broker-dealers rubbing it in their
face.

IMO, nick
