I just got back from Seattle (the billionaire capital of the America).
If E-bay is such a wonderful 'Thing' what has happened since I lost my lap-top going through airport security.

In fact, every minute of every day more than 150 new items are listed, more than 500 bids are placed, and seven new people register on eBay."

I gotta admit that those are impressive stats. Get out your calculator and start working forwards: Every 7 minutes, 1,050 new items listed. Every hour, 9,000 new items listed, and let's see..what? Yes, 30,000 bids are placed every hour. Doesn't anyone work anymore? -GG- I guess there's lots of independently wealthy folks who have nothing better to do than bid on stuff. Amazing. Actually I can think of lots of more interesting things to do. But that's just me, and maybe I'm different than all these e-bayers.
