"an isp that supports ADSL on an alternet backbone. "

Well, I had asked MSN about ADSL (they are on UUNET/Alternet backbone) but MSN says they aren't going to support DSL "at this time". (They have been trying to sell-off MSN to a telco, so they are probably stalling). I'm looking at ADSL through GTE, their ISP (gte.net, who I can opt to use) is on the BBN Planet backbone (now a division of GTE)... which just happens to be the backbone CyberBroker is on.
(I had a really nice chat with a Cyber tech person about that last week, he was thrilled I would consider gte.net as an ADSL ISP as they have had good success with that combo. He said the BBN backbone has only 30% utilization. I just don't know if I'm going with Cyber yet. FYI: they are coming out with a new CyberX software this or next month.)
