I'll tell you what I think. I think it's a combination of the privacy groups, who instead of privacy want nothing but attention right now, as they drive to stir this admitted hornet's nest to the extreme, and the hate Intel faction. We are learning a lot about the former lately. The latter are a group that hate Intel, I suppose because either they've had to compete with them unsuccessfully, or bet against them or for their competitors via Wall Street and lost big time. I personally haven't quite seen this type of hatred (maybe except for Microsoft) for such an important company to world technology improvement since the hate that was directed toward IBM in the 70's and 80's. Back then there was no internet to fan the flames like today, so this is much worse. There are members of this hate group that lie in wait, praying for an Intel screwup more than for anything else in the world, and now here they are, on stage, exactly like when the F0F0 PII flaw came out, and FDIV, etc. If that's all they live for...
