Thanks for your suggestion, but you will note that Jesus Christ was made man according to the Creed. And that he was crucified, which means "the act of putting to death on a cross." And the Gospels all agree that he died: "Jesus when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost." Matt. 27:50.
"And Pilate marveled if he were already dead:" Mk 16:44. " ... he gave up the ghost." Luke 24:46 "...he was dead already, and they brake not his legs." John 20:33. I think the Gospels are agreed that Jesus was dead, and that the Creed, by mentioning crucifixion, confirms that he died.

The Creed

I believe in One God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.

And in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the Only-Begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all ages. Light of Light, true God of true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father, by
Whom all things were made.

Who for us and for our salvation came down from heaven, and was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and became man.

And was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate, and suffered and was buried;

And rose again on the third day, according to the Scriptures;

And ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of the Father;

And He shall come again with glory to judge the living and the dead: Whose kingdom shall haveno end.

And in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Giver of Life, Who proceedeth from the Father, Who together with the Father and the Son is worshipped and glorified, Who spake by the prophets.

And in One, Holy, Universal, and Apostolic Church;

I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins;

I look for the resurrection of the dead;

And the life of the world to come. Amen.
