<< Jones and Lewinski were going to be trashed with all his resources >>

If the shoe fits........ Actually, I really believe that Monica was stalking or targeting President Clinton with her affections. Don't cry too long for Jones. Hmmmmm!? Why don't the Republicans choose Paula Jones for their Presidential Candidate for the 2000 elections! Paula personifies all that is good with the Republican Party.

<< ... then strutting right over to the white house lawn to be seen with Bill and Al ... >>

I loved that! It said to the Republican Party, "Stick that meaningless, partisan impeachment where the sun don't shine!"

<< Standing O was for admitting it and stepping down.. >>

LIAR, LIAR, PANTS ON FIRE!!!!!!!

Sorry, I lost it for a second. How could they give him a standing ovation for steping down when they did not know he was going to step down until days later when he surprised everyone on the floor of the House?

He got a standing ovation by the House after they learned he had cheated on his wife over and over again. No matter what spin you put on it, that is what happened. It is an open and shut case. If he had admitted his sin after the 1st affair, I might understand the standing ovation. ..... after the 2nd affair, I might understand ...... after the 3rd affair ....... after the 4th affair........ But, the standing ovation came after he had no choice but to admit his sins. The news was coming out with a story about it!

Tell me why your explanation of Livingston's standing ovation is not hypocritical spin. I still cannot beleive the Party of "Family Values" would give their "soon to be" speaker a standing ovation after finding out that he cheated on his wife and family many times over many years. The Democratic Party would never do that! <g>

It ain't about Hyde
It ain't about Livingston
It ain't about Barr

It all depends upon what you mean by the word "it". <g>
