Craig,

As you probably know, Vectorvest is just an automated (computer's) attempt to rate stocks based on current and historical data. It doesn't try to factor many intangibles such as forward looking earnings potential, company news, or positive statements made during conference calls. I personally haven't gained much value out of a vectorvest report. What's your experience with them?

CF -

Thanks for the post. I must say that I'm an old fashioned kind of person in that I like what I think are growth areas. I wopnder what all those parameters would have said about say AOL a couple of years ago or maybe other posters can suggest stocks which would have been low graded by the scoring system but have subsequently turned out to be winners.

OK I recognize that you would probably point to the number of such stocks and that sure you will get one or two exceptions but then that is the whole point...I think SNDK will prove to be an exception and what life here in the NAZ is about is almost about confirming peoples judgements. Funny how you seem to gain respect from colleagues when your favourite stock go up and of course vice-versa.

Still your scoring method did have P/Es in it and the thing of it is that this time, for the first time I can remember for a long time ELI was very positive...so what about this years P/E?

Regards,

L
