Phil, why hold on during the selloffs? I have been in this stock since November of 1997, my initial buy at 10 1/8. I rode it down to 4 1/4, and right back up again to it's present level of around 12. I've made a nice 50% annualized profit on the volatility, buying the dips and selling the rallies. My trading history of this stock is posted at my site: elnet.com
(Click on the stock symbol and check out the third graphic).
You may want to use the same method I used if you are committed to this company (as I am). An explanation of the trading method is explained on the site, as well as the actual buy/sell dates and prices. Very interesting stuff, and a real money maker. With a stock as volatile as GUMM, there is no profit in buy and hold, as I would only be about $2.00 per share ahead. I've made over 40% on my initial investment. Take a look, explore the site, and let me know what you think. Good luck to the longs! (But with my methodology, I really don't care if it goes up or down).

Sincerely,
RFH
