Here is an e-mail I got from Astra today. It is a response to an e-mail I sent back on December 24th asking about specifics of the ED market in Sweden:

Dear Dr [ ]

In Sweden, MUSE was launched in July 1998 - Viagra in September 1998.
Unfortunately, we do not like in the US have any weekly prescription data.
Astra reports full year 1998 results on February 16 - so I am afraid that I
can only be rather limited in my comments. Nevertheless, I can say that
Viagra to some extent has "helped" us in Sweden, as it strongly has expanded
the market for erectile dysfunction.

Kind regards,

Michael Olsson
Manager, Investor Relations

Astra's 1998 report may have some insight in it regarding Astra's plans for further launches in Europe etc...
