My one concern is Akins wouldn't comment on ASML apparently shipping 10 scanners in 1999.

Do you mean the question about Nikon shipping 10 ArF scanner in Q199? I did not hear a question about ASML and 10 scanners, but might have missed it.

My recollection is that management was not certain if Nikon announced it was shipping 10 scanners and was hesitant to comment on that fact. What they did not want to comment on was whether those units contained Cymer lasers. Management just reaffirmed they were qualified at Nikon and left it at that. Cymer has agreements with OEMs which restrict them from sharing information such as this and so even if they did know or believed that Cymer was inside they were not going down that road. And I think they also had this fond memory in the back of their minds when answering this question:

cymer.com

I thought the cc was good and about as expected. And I expect CYMI to be trading at $100 - $200 by the end of this week <g>.
