When, and I mean WHEN all those bloated market caps for the Internet stocks melt away,

Sure it will hurt. But their markets caps are no where comparable to MSFT, INTC, and CSCO, IBM, or many of the other big caps... yet.. <VBG>

And there aren't too many people on the street who would be upset to see them deflate a bit so some of that money could be redirected to other stocks.

But then again, you have to appreciate that internet stocks are some of the few that are showing increasing profitability/reduction of losses. Many multinational companies are continuing to suffer under a profits recession.

But again, internet gambling does not impact the strength of the dollar. For every person who loses money, there is some other group out there shorting or buying puts on these stocks. And that is where the real money is being made.
