Here is the updated report that will be appearing on bizfn for GTNR... Gentner Communications Corporation GTNR - NASDAQ SMALL CAP Shares Outstanding: 8.12 M Float: 5.17 6 MONTH TARGET PRICE: $7.50 CONTACT: BRYCE BENSON Investor/Media Relations Gentner Communications Corporation (801) 974-3786 GENERAL DESCRIPTION Gentner Communications provides telecommunications products and services. Gentner announced in November that it would be entering the video conferencing market. In our recent introductory report on Gentner Communications we covered the basics. We mentioned how we were impressed with the Company's products, the management and the important relationships that they have developed in order to successfully evolve and secure a market niche as the market matures. Please review our initial report. BRIEFING * NEW PRODUCT RELEASE IS ON TRACK * A NEWS RELEASE IN EARLY FEBRUARY WILL FOLLOW THE PRODUCT RELEASE * GENTNER HAS ALREADY RECEIVED ORDERS FOR THE NEW PRODUCT * MANAGEMENT IS COMFORTABLE WITH AN ESTIMATED FUTURE GROWTH RATE OF 37% * GTNR'S TECHNICAL PROFILE IS INDICATING A BREAKOUT DETAILS Gentner Communications has been successful in identifying industry challenges, developing the right products, forging strategic alliances and planning for the future. The Company is continually developing new products and services. The Company initially began selling products that put callers on the air for call-in talk shows. In 1991, the Company used their background in the broadcast market as a springboard for entrance into the audioconferencing market. The broadcast market accounted for 36% of the Company's total sales and the teleconferencing market accounted for 51% of the Company's total sales during fiscal 1998. Frost & Sullivan, an international marketing consulting company that publishes market research reports, projects the teleconferencing market to grow to over $24 billion by 2003.frost.com The teleconferencing market is made up of the audio, video and data conferencing segments. During fiscal 1998, the Company entered the data conferencing market by partnering with Broadband Associates. Gentner is now ready to complete it's product offerings by entering into the videoconferencing market. The new product announced for release in Feb. is on track and a news release will follow the product release. biz.yahoo.com GTNR already has orders for the product in the "pipeline." The new product is targeted at corporate customers at this time for corporate use. Half of all new sales will be bundles with Audio Perfect and RSIS' Codex for video conferencing will be included. As the old inventory is depleted, all of Audio Perfect will come bundled with the new videoconferencing product. GTNR's revenue flow is expected to increase with the addition of the video complement. The product is not PC based as is competitor PCTL's product, however GTNR would not hesitate to enter the PC market if management is convinced it would be a viable place to be. GTNR is actively working on reseller agreements with larger companies for their products. Mr. Kent Rogers has been assigned this task as a sole focus. Mr. Rogers, as we know had been with Siemans and has a working relationship with that Company. Mr. Benson has mentioned that a relationship with Intel is "not out of the question." Mr. Benson expressed that a 37% growth rate for GTNR is reasonable without entering into the equation the possibility of entering into the PC market and availing the company of the customer base that the internet would provide. TECHNICAL ANALYSES PROVIDED BY THE TEXAS BOPPER The price has formed an inverted head and shoulders during January and looks ready to break into new high territory. Worden TC2000 data is very bullish with a BOP reading in the 87 percentile of all stocks. MoneyStream is also very strong. TSV has had a beautiful stair step slope upward for sometime but in the last two trading days it has broken below it's moving average. It is still comfortably above the zero line. Other indicators that I track are as follows: MACD's--The long, short and medium term MACD's have been correcting, but are now showing some signs of flattening. I would bet on north here. OBV is very strong versus it's 40 day average.Stochastics are as follows: 8/3/5 is moving up aggressively from below 20 and had a little jiggle down on Friday. 13/8/8 has turned up from around the 30 area. 233/21/34 and 377/21/89 are very bullish. RSI: The 4/3 has an inverted HS and is correcting. 8/3 also looks like an IHS. The 3/2 has also formed an IHS and could move up strongly from here after visiting above 80. Price ROC: The 14 day ROC has formed a double bottom and is turning up. In summary, it would appear that GTNR has a high likelihood of breaking to new all-time highs Once again this is just our opinion and not a recommendation to buy or sell. Everyone should do their own due diligence
