I use to work at WHQ, Athens, AL, and Marshall, MI. The division names were Appliance Controls and Torque Controls.

While we are losing $280 million in sales due to the divestiture, we are also losing about $250 million of expenses.

Once ETN starts to eliminate the employees that become redundant as a result of the Aeroquip-Vickers, Inc. purchase, I believe ETN can regain the $30 million in profits lost as a result of the sale of its two divisions.

This is where it will come from: Law Department, Corporate Accounting Department, Patents Department, Research & Development staffs, some internal auditors, external auditor fees, some executives, some plants, etc.
