Catcher, Just about every employee I know who works on Compaq systems say they are POSs, but the IT guys love them. Gateways are also pretty shabby. Dell and Hewlett make good boxes and there are some CPQ home users who are happy. I have heard good things about CPQ servers, while their workstations usually bring snickers. I personally find HP keyboards don't fit my catcher's mitt hands, while Compaq and IBM's do. But quality isn't the name of the game in America or our Big Three auto makers would never have gotten so large. <G> MB
