Wren: oh thank you for posting...I've wanted to ask you about this subject, I've noticed your posts on this subject.
I can't figure out how to value individual busted converts, and the bid-ask spreads are huge....I bought some RIF at the end of dec when the nav was adjusted, the good folks at cohen and steers seem to buy them for this fund. Crescent is a good choice. I think DIV does this for utility stocks. Do you like any of the convertible closed-end funds here? I notice BCV and ECF are 15% discount to NAV and near the bottom of their historic market trading range...I was hoping for a retest of October to pick some up.
