OK, I've read the articles, and there's nothing earth-shattering in them. I already knew that poll results can be "spun" to mean almost anything the poll-takers want them to, and I'm not surprised that public opinion of Democrats and Republicans hasn't changed much since Nov. 1998. That's really too short a time span for a significant shift in opinions. The only polls I really trust are national elections, and they only happen every four years.
