Waiting for two way service? What is that all about? I have MediaOne cable modem and it does not take a phone line. I am now also a share holder. My internet service cranks. I have been using the internet since the early days and nothing compares to the speed of my cable modem connection. I have seen downloads with speeds up to 180KB/sec. My friends who are getting ISDN were impressed with their 16KB/sec. I just laugh at them. My company reimburses me for the $39/mo it costs for the cable modem service, but I would definately pay for the service myself if they didn't. I am spoiled. Service is another issue. I had to call MediaOne once about my service and was on hold for 1/2 hour. This is a great service if you don't need hand holding. I am sure they will beef up the customer support staff soon.
