Well, it seems that this e-commerce is catching on. People are becoming more confident purchasing over the internet as their fears of security problems decline. The IBM AS/400 is the platform of choice for e-commerce (and other things) so it wasn't too hard to put 2 and 2 together when I found that a lot of people at IBM also own the stock.

While we don't conduct any e-commerce I do work around the things. In case you missed it here's a picture of one we recently uncrated to replace our last generation model but we don't have it in the network yet: ionet.net

The piece in the foreground is about 3' tall and the part in the background is about 5' tall. If I recall it has 27 ea. 4.7 GB drives in it. I don't have a picture of the huge tape drive we recently got in and I haven't scanned a pix I took of the one we're coming off lease with.

Our poor climate-controlled room is kind of a mess lately but I'll be taking more pictures from time to time as we move along.
