Keith, The flip side of commonly used (but maybe poorly understood) indicators is that there's a built-in crowd using them so they're often self-fulfilling prophecies. Lets see, what are most common: 12-26-9 MACD 20 day Bollinger Bands with a 20 day SMA in the middle 14 day RSI 200 day moving average Flags and triangles show contracting bars. Its possible to program part of that. My Coiled Spring picked up the DoubleClick pennant perfectly. But it picks up a lot of noise as well. On a separate note, my site has had several reports of lines being cut off on some Netscape browsers.
