I was completely stunned to see BRCM and CMTO essentially trading flat after the ATT news. CNBC must have re-rolled the C Michael Armstrong's clip 15 times today.

No association (by the street) here ?

Tossed some funds into slightly outa-the-money options for both, will either be a 10x or a wash.

Happy as a clam with the CMTO cable modem, it runs 24x7.

It looks like in either case, whatever company is going to seek the precious cable lines for interactive services, interface providers like Com21 will benefit. At least this is what my logic tells me. They are in a position to need very strong inside marketing to penetrate these big boys (and girls) while they have the technological lead.

My thinking, too. If cable modems were a retail product right out of the gate, small guys would have a disadvantage. Even so, with CMTO's number three rank, worldwide, they seem to be well-positioned to compete with the bigger names.

I continue to buy on dips. Tried to get some at 26 1/2 yesterday and missed. Trying again today.
