Also, a patent search didn't turn up anything relevant for either Hensley or Davidson. While a patent on Zinullose might be pending, it seems reasonable that there might have been some prior patent granted for their "ionic free flow emulsification technology which led to their discovery of the compound Zinullose" as the Gel Tech website states. But that's apparently not the case.
