"You've just about killed me and my friends with PRFM"

Only when you can take responsibility for your trades can you hope to become successful in the market. The market doesn't know or care if you, I, or Anthony owns or is short a stock.

Here's a clue: When CFO's resign unexpectedly from turdy little companies like PRFM, the stock is a no brainer sell/sell short.

5. What are the key factors (or indicators) do you examine before you enter a 'short' position?

When a stock gaps up and drops immediately and never looks up again that day on heavy volume coupled with 1000% increase over 40 straight trading sessions.

Also, Buy the rumor and sell the news. Friday was the last trading before the opening of the web site.

Look at DBCC the day before the IPO hit and then the day of the IPO release. DBCC dropped approx. 30%

Well heres the bottom line I look at 10 to 20 stocks every night and I review maybe 50 on the weekends ..we are talking 4-500 stocks that I review every month and i believe I pick the 20 to 30 best ones that I absolutely know will tank...They do not tank because of me they would have tanked anyway...There is simply no other explanation that is even close to the truth..My first month is a perfect example on the first day i posted 5 or 6 short picks and guess what every one tanked...

Maybe I have a gift at weeding through all the hype and have the ability to differntiate between market mania, momentum and true trading functions..what I do is simple..it's not easy ..there is a big differnce and since I do not front run any of my picks and I post my trades real time..it immediately sets me apart from every other analyst that I know of or have ever heard of...and certainly noone on Si can claim that..Prior to SI , I owned a Broker Dealer and it was by far the most profitable Firm probably in the whole country if you look at monthly returns on Capital..

ABC befor taping my show for the justice files..reviewed alomst 300 short positions I have taken and confirmed that I indeed have never netted a loss on any of those positions..i gave them catre blanche to look at anything they want and before I was interviewd on 20/20..they did a thorough search everywher on me and interviewd the Us Attorney Al Bersin,, several agents with the IRS, FBI, Postal Inspectors and others to confirm everything i had to say..before the intervioew was aired as a mtter of a fcat 4 months went by from the taping to the actual airing of the show and it was a huge success..

I can only say what I control of my money and it stands at just over 22 mil

I absolutely do believe that I have pretty damn good timing however..and have seen followers of this thread actually get beeter executions than I do..and it doesnt bother me in the least..

as far as my portfolio..right here on this thread its been an open book and every month I go through and consolidate what we did in the following month,

here rae all the trades for December and jan will be posted soon.

Im sorry you got killed but people had an oppty to get out at 14 and at 12 or better all afternoon Friday and those who did..seem to have all made money..the people who got hurt were those that bought more because they bought into other peoples crazy notions and who were misled into believing that I have no idea what Im talking about..I recieved probably 50 or 60 Thank yous from those who bailed out wih profits but I recieved over 120 I got killed Pm's and I never like reading them..it makes me sick to see so many get destroyed by the greedy self serving morons on SI and Yahoo and unscrupulous touters, brokers, and promoters and almost always the company itself.

BTW..I may appear to just pick a stock and then it melts immediately but keep in mind that I go through hundreds and pick the most obvious..shorts..not very glamorous but look at the results and you will see that..The consitency is the most staggering part of it all.

In addition I have alomst quit this thread many times because it takes a lot of time and at times aguy who owns 300 hundred share starts bashing me endlessly and goes off the deep end in his personal attacks ..I know that if I stopped this thread and wentback to my noraml day to day trading i would probaly make more beacuse..when i post a short rec..I actually have to compete on the buy-backs with everyone else and those that try to pre-guess where Ill buy back and the market makers that keep this monitored so they dont get blid sided with buys or sell coming out of no-where..who also are probaly trading my picks but would never admit it in a million years... i outraded thebest they got out there and was in their face and they hated it....

How could a 4 man-shop...be such a pain...

Well its by relying on facts and excluding all fiction from our due-dili

Jon,
Anthony did not tank PRFM. He just read the market like he does so well. Probably every short in the business was eyeing PRFM. Early Friday morning I posted here that I was gathering resources for PRFM well before Anthony had ever said a word about it, and I am by no means a "good shorter". It was a no brainer. Some hints, look at the SEC filings real well and understand the financial pattern to the company. Look at the volume, and look at the run-up. Look at the BS being spouted on the threads and identify the hypesters. The management of PRFM company has a very flakey background. I will tell you that shorters do the absolute BEST dd in the business because they have to. I am on this thread to learn more about DD and reading SEC documents and understanding them COMPLETELY. If I make some money along the way that's cool too, but mostly I'm here for an education.
There are numerous people on this thread that do incredible DD, probably the best on SI - ie. Anthony, Pluvia, Jose Matos, Rogermci, Jimmy Liberato..... There is much to be learned here by some exceptional people and best of all it's free.
