Elwood is going to get a laugh out of this name,"PIGLET".

Several names and models have been bandied about, but the tentatively
titled Aero 2100 and Aero 8000 - code-named Piglet and Tigger,
respectively -- will maintain a form factor similar to the current stable of
gray-scale devices but with a Thin Film Transistor color display
supporting 256 colors.

hlpinout,

I read a similar article recently. The Motorola CF pager was specifically mentioned. Do you have additional information about this device. I assume it is plug-and-play.

Also, Microsoft developed new software that creates sub-pixel resolution and will greatly improve on screen resolution for small, color LCD screens such as used by the smaller version of the Jornada. I am uncertain if this is the "Wyvern" project or not. In any case, small, clear, distinct, power efficient color LCD screens will be essential if people are going to buy into palm computing for such purposes as web browsing, e-mailing digital photos on the spot, and the like. Don't you think?
