The jobs/strikes dilemma for the EU we anticipated. I look for EU companies to merge/alliance their way forward, as they tend to do, rather than weed out their garden - because of the political/social pressures. Being critical of the US is de rigueur. Most Americans are blissfully unaware that they have been slighted, which is perhaps the most insulting reply Americans could make to any EU criticism. Loved the "new-style aerobics" analogy: made me laff this morning, DJ! Thanks again -Steve
