Redhat (www.redhat.com) is supporting its distribution of Linux and few of the major X86 box sellers are in consideration of selling pre-installed Redhat Linux on their boxes. When Redhat and other main distributions support are proven, before you know it Linux will own a significant piece of the server market, whether the geeks want to or not. I am speculating that Redhat, SuSe and Caldera will have more say than Linus Torvalds and other geeks on Linux's direction once the money started flowing in.
