JDN:I have read your thread and it seems to me you are against everything.

That's why he has his own thread. Suggested new title - MICHAEL D. BURKE: "I'm the only one I've ever loved."

K

BTW - Gotta like those new Office Depot ads for "speedy computers" featuring none other than Compaq!

JDN, I have a huge long list. If you read my thread, better call Evelyn Wood do get your money back on the speed reading course. <G> But I buy cheap stuff that will turn around, not fluff that requires a greater fool to sucker in so you can show a profit.

I have missed some tulips that were run up. On purpose. But the tulip buyers have missed much more. Did you own palladium for its huge run? I did. Made these scam stocks look like pikers. Did you have calls on Mexico fund for 150% in two weeks? I did and closed it out yesterday, which I noted, buy and sell, on my thread. I wonder if Evelyn gives double your money back? <G> Did you have Ciena all the way down in long puts and then long stock for a 67% bounce? I did.

So, I buy lots of stuff. I just buy better, quicker, more profitable stuff than the blundering herds' current favorite bloated pigs. I write a lot about the put side because that is where I get my questions. Just as I write more about Compaq, Intel and Dell than their importance in my portfolio because their zombie followers are hot to trot and don't like anyone telling the truth about them. BTW, I was an owner of Intel many times over the decades when it was reasoanably priced. Dell and Compaq never passed my smell test. Admittedly, I should have worn a clothes pin on my nose. <G>

BTW, there is nothing wrong with buying these overpriced pieces of crap as long as you know you are gambling. As my asncient article on IFC pointed out, techstocks.com. Money can be made on these things. Just don't risk as much as you can make to get there.

Good Luck,

MB
