08:43 ET Online Brokers: CS First Boston expects to lift estimates on E*Trade (EGRP) and Ameritrade (AMTD) by the end of February, citing strong
online trading volume. Says checks indicate that online trading volumes are currently running 25%-30% higher than last quarter's pace. Given high degree of
sensitivity to news, believes news of strong volumes could run stocks even higher "as hard as that may seem." Both stocks indicated slightly lower this
morning.
