Anyone else here in CSCO 105 Calls? Or any others close to the money? Pondering today whether to sell 'em or hold 'em past today's Conf Call. Because I can't guess what will happen in the CC, and have to remove my emotion from what I want to happen, I'm making a guess at what is happening in the big run-up. I'm suspecting the run-up is driven more by the expectation of a 3-2 split than by an earnings suprise of more than 1 cents over consensus. If a split isn't announced, then I suspect the short-term mass psychological response will be negative (all those folks who got in yesterday from $113-$117 pulling the plug. I got the 105s at just under $6 and was happy Friday to sell half of them at just over $9. And, here they are at $13 with CSCO at $114. And, thus the challenge between trying to be too greedy hoping for a split announcement vs. closing them now for a sure profit of 120%. Are we still having fun?
