GOOD MORNING JOHN AND EVERYONE, This is a variation on a procedure that many use in business.On the web they are able to sell ad space, whereas in a normal course of business,the term used is "Loss Leaders".A certain amount of products are offered at cost or below in the hope that when people visit,they purchase other products along with the items that are on sale.This is common practice in the food industry and it also contributes to the cash flow. Supermarkets do this every week to keep the money flowing. Emerson knows full well the importance of successfully establishing a web site that will reap rewards, and i'm sure they are considering every possibility before they launch one. ==========TONY==========
