USVO is currently heavily involved in digitalizing educational videos for one school board and stepping up their marketing efforts in this area. I did talk to the new COO this morning and briefly with Ed Molinas(very busy fielding calls from not only investors but also potential purchasers of their technology) I am impressed with the company's future and the momentum which seems to be building within this company. The patent agents are currently looking for infringements on their patent and possible lisencing fees! This may well be done on a contingency basis to keep from incurring large legal fees. I personally know of a few infringments existing within the employment/resume postings on the web where video clips of job seekers are held on a central file and released upon request. I have not yet read the patent but was advised that it is quite broad and covers the concept of storing digitalized and compressed videos (regarless of software used) and providing access to this stored media from remote locations! My broker advises me that there is quite a bit of stock available now at 10c Cdn ( 7c US) but news could remove this overhead quite quickly. I am still accumulating in the 6-6.5c US range so that I can trade one half of my position on the way up through 15C. I am still completing DD and hope to introduce a number of Canadian Companys & educational institutions to this product in order to guage the demand and time frame for implementation. NB: I am simply an investor at this time and have no access to inside information. If I do get some Canadian users lined up then I will obviously ask USVO to consider appropriate compensation.
