I hadn't heard that. If he can successfully play off of the company reputation and create a line of fast cruisers as opposed to most of the others like Sea-Ray who play down the speed aspect, I think he will have a winner. Several companies like Donzi have tried with mediocre success, but with quality and management problems. Neither pertain to Fountain. Let's hope that he doesn't start with a trawler <g>.

I had just about forgotten FPWR...and other small caps.
It sounds like this thread is getting middle of the winter boating fever. I'll have to check out the magazine rack for the new line of cruisers. I checked the website and they didn't have a cruisers section, just one on sportscruisers. The other guys on this thread are right, no other speedboat company has really been able to execute on this one. The attempts at building cruisers didn't live up to the name and seemed half hearted. And then, of course, there are people who like to stick with SeaRays. This might give them something to get excited about. That's where the money is. Hang on everybody...only 4 1/2 months 'til summer.

Thanks for the wake up call,
Allan
