Don't smack him, it'll hurt him. Anyway, the kids love him, and if it wasn't for him, who would help them with their math homework? They don't even bother asking me for help anymore.

Say, what do you think of this - he likes to hang out with a lady who has a lot of interests in common with him, they like to play Dungeons and Dragons, and other role playing games ("Vampire") and board games ("1830" and "Rail Baron") and they like goth music, and they like to dress up and go to the Renaissance Faire, and stuff like that. She sent him an email yesterday, and invited him to go to a homebrew tasting and Society for Creative Anachronism party this Friday. He said it was too short notice (Monday? give me a break). Should I encourage him to go, even though it pisses me off that he has fun with her, and he doesn't have fun with me?
