Tip, On this one I don't know when. Heck, I don't know for sure if. But I do know that they are holding the AMD card over Intel's head to bring down their outrageous prices. And AMD is ready and willing. MB

Tippet: The only thing holding back an announcement is whether AMD can actually make good delivery (remember, they are production-constrained) or whether INTC can withstand the pain from those incredibly hot coals beneath their feet. Is it possible that Dell would even think of playing one against the other on a price basis? Fortunately not possible, given the loyalty, integrity friendships etc involved (g).
